Who we are

Watson Lake Community Outreach has been serving the community since 1979, incorporated in 1985. As a Watson Lake based non-profit organization, we offer many services for job seekers and employers. Our office is equipped with two public computers for internet job search and resume writing, a fax machine and photocopier, as well as information about government programs, student funding, local and non-local employment opportunities. We are funded by Canada-Yukon Labour Market Development Agreement.

We are also here to assist employers in finding potential employees. We offer a variety of services including advertising jobs on local and Yukon job boards, receiving and delivering resumes and applications to employers, visiting employees to check in on new hires and applications, and much more! We work with many of the local businesses, as well as businesses across the Yukon. If you are seeking information, looking for new hires, or wish to advertise, please contact us, our services are free!
