Qualifications:
Valid Class 4 Drivers License
Current Driver’s Abstract
Valid First Aid Ticket
Up to date booster/immunizations shots
Doctor’s verification of wellness to work with children
Strong organizational skills
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment and able to take direction
Must enjoy working with young children
Must be flexible and able to react in calm and caring manner to unforeseen conflicts and situations that may arise.
Security clearance - LFN Personnel Policy applies.
Duties:
The Bus Driver is responsible for the following: setting pick-up and drop-off times, maintaining and enforcing safety regulations for children, maintaining vehicle in good working condition, complying with all reporting procedures in a timely manner, and recording all passengers, kilometers, usage, maintenance, and safety concerns on a weekly basis. The part time position will require the bus driver to perform general maintenance duties indoors and outdoors, daily cleaning duties.
Organizing the bus route and setting pick up and drop off times.
Maintaining and enforcing safety regulations for the children.
Maintaining the vehicle in good working order and centre.
Abiding by all other regulations as may be necessary
